Questions about pricing
Can I try PasteBase for free?
Yes. A Free account is free forever — no credit card, no trial clock, nothing counting down. If you choose Team when creating your account instead, you get a 5-day trial with up to 4 seats, also without a card. That choice at sign-up is the only time a trial is offered. Need more than 4 seats, or ready to commit? Subscribing ends the trial and starts your paid plan right away.
How do seats work?
You buy a block of seats — say five — and hand them out to whoever you like. One seat covers a person across all your teams, so someone in two of your teams still only uses one. Need more? Add seats anytime; the difference is prorated.
I was invited to someone's team. Do I pay?
No. The team's owner covers your seat. Being a member of other people's teams never costs you anything — your own account stays free.
Is there a yearly discount?
Yes — €40 per user per year instead of €48. That's two months free.
What happens if I cancel?
Your teams keep working until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, access to them is locked — nothing is deleted, and everything unlocks again if you resubscribe. Your personal workspace is never affected.
Can I reduce my seats?
Anytime, as long as you're not dropping below the number of people currently in your teams — we'll never auto-remove anyone. Remove members first, then reduce seats.
